If you have spent any time on this blog, you know that I’m a non-stop book reviewer with an academic background who can help authors and publishers get the word out about their books. Publicists also should contact me, especially if the new books they are promoting are by Florida writers or express Jewish themes and issues. Nothing is out of bounds, but having some specialties has helped me market my reviews efficiently.

I can also help you promote a book-related event.

Blog and print editors should know that I am always looking for new places to publish my reviews and articles. Let me know what you are looking for and perhaps we can make a deal.

Also, many of the reviews (and other writings) published here are available for reprint. See if there’s something you like, and if I control the rights, perhaps we can arrange for that piece to appear in your publication.

Let’s work together to put writers and readers together.

You can reach me at or by calling (239) 287-8921.

  2. Hi Phil, Very glad to find your blog! It’s been an age, but I am still teaching now and then at the Writer’s Center. I hope Florida is treating you well.

  3. Let me know what you are working on these days. the Writer’s Center is the institution I miss the most since my retirement to SW Florida. Book reviewing has been dominating my life for about nine years now.
